WCTH Update – Erin Krakow Reveals Renewal
“When Calls The Heart’s” Erin Krakow revealed at the end of season 7’s finale that the show had been renewed for another season. This means Hope Valley is here to stay. The series premiered in 2014 when Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) traveled to Coal Valley to become a teacher. Elizabeth quickly discovered this was not an easy place to live considering she came from a wealthy family.
However, Elizabeth met and fell in love with a young Canadian Mountie named Jack Thorton (Daniel Lissing) whom she eventually married. Elizabeth and Daniel had a son together. Krakow has been there since the beginning of the series and continues to be a very important part of the show. It is only fitting that she announce the pickup of the new season.
Elizabeth’s Book Is Published
Season seven saw Elizabeth expand her horizons from school teacher to budding author as her book was chosen to be published. Of course, Elizabeth is a bit apprehensive about letting anyone see her book at first. Eventually, after showing them to a friend and explaining that her late husband helped with the illustrations, Elizabeth is shocked that the pages were sent to a publisher without her consent.
Elizabeth is happy that her dream is coming true, now if her love life could be so simple. Having two suitors is something that Elizabeth cannot continue with for much longer, at some point she has to make a choice. Who will she be with next season?
