About ‘You Had Me At Aloha’
Hallmark Channel news reveals that the movie is a “Summer Nights’ romance, according to Entertainment Tonight. It centers on Paige (Hutton), who is a one-season replacement for a travel show host. She will get to work for the next season in Hawaii. The network also hires Ben (Smith) who also has to go to extremes in everything. Ben and Paige will clash as they have different ideas for the travel show.
Ben and Paige know that they need each other for the sake of their careers. However, they soon realize that their completely different styles actually create a balance on-screen.

The network uses themes or programming blocks throughout the year. “Summer Nights” will kick off on June 5. Movies part of the annual themed programming line-up will air every Saturday for four consecutive weeks. “You Had Me At Aloha” is the very first premiere of the programming slate.
Kavan Smith Force-Fed By Co-Star
Hallmark Channel news reveals that Smith and Hutton get along great. They enjoy working together on When Calls the Heart, as well as their new movie. However, their relationship wasn’t always this rosy. In fact, they really struggled when they were first put together on a production. In fact, Hutton appeared on Home & Family and admitted that she went off-script. Then, she shoved a spoon of food into his mouth. The actress said that she thought it would be funny.
Pascale Hutton: 16 Takes Before Behaving
The “You Had Me At Aloha” star said that Smith insisted on staying in front of the camera until Hutton could behave at work. It took a whopping 16 takes before that happened! Even though they had a rough beginning, the co-stars now laugh all the time.
When Does ‘You Had Me At Aloha’ Premiere?
This movie isn’t scheduled to premiere on the Hallmark Channel until June 5. They just finished production, according to Hutton’s post on Instagram. So, Crown Media hasn’t issued the lead sheet or press release yet. However, that information should be available soon.
