Hallmark Channel News –  Plot of Picture Perfect Mysteries: Exit Stage Death

According to the official website for Hallmark Movies and Mysteries, Allie Adams (Alexa PenaVega) will be backstage during the opening night of celebrated murder mystery author and director Neil Khan (Willie Aames). However, she stumbles upon the body of the leading lady, who has been murdered.

Sam Acosta (Carlos PenaVega) is the Willow Haven police detective that arrives on the scene. Since Allie assisted with two previous murder investigations, he invites the photographer to help him on the case — unofficially, of course. However, Allie soon turns from a detective’s assistant to being a target herself when she gets close to finding out the killer’s identity.

In addition to Willie Aames, Carlos PenaVega, and Allie PenaVega, IMDB’s casting information lists Paul McGillion, Nelson Wong, and Hannah Levian. Other actors part of this project also includes John Flanagan, Sunita Prasad, Pauline Egan, Marci T. House, Matt Mazur, and Dustin MacDougall.

The mystery movie series began in June 2019 with “Newlywed and Dead.” After that, fans tuned in to watch “Dead Over Diamonds.” The upcoming installment of Picture Perfect Mysteries, “Exit Stage Death” is the third film in the series.

The tagline for Picture Perfect Mysteries is “every picture tells a story.” In each film, Sam and Allie end up working together on a murder case. And of course, working together, they are able to use their unique skills and talents to solve them and put the killers behind bars.
