As Days of Our Lives fans know, Kristian played Hope Williams Brady. In “Chronicle Mysteries: Helped To Death,” she was given the character of Sheriff Williams. It doesn’t sound like that was a coincidence. Kristian told Soap Opera Digest,

“It was just so fun to be on a project together and to have Ali think of me. It’s a cameo and my character’s name is Sheriff Williams, be still my heart. Thank you Ali.”

“I was so grateful on so many levels. It really gave us the opportunity to not be distracted by anything. We were just in the moment, enjoying each other, enjoying our friendship, enjoying how much we really love each other because we hadn’t been home to see our families.”

Hallmark Channel news reveals that “Chronicle Mysteries: Helped To Death” focuses on a new character named Zack (actor name is currently unknown). Zack tries a self-help retreat, but Alex McPherson (Sweeney) isn’t really sure about him. The person who runs the self-help retreat has a checkered past, so Alex goes up there to check things out. Alex’s instincts are dead-on and someone ends up losing their life. Sheriff Williams is brought in to investigate and determine if the person was murdered or not. Benjamin Ayres also returns as Drew Godfrey.
