Hallmark Movies & Mysteries Takes Viewers To Ireland In Love’s Portrait

Imagine looking at a painting and realizing that the portrait resembles your own face. In Hallmark Movies & Mysteries’ new Love’s Portrait film, museum curator Lily experiences exactly that scenario. But can she solve the mystery of how a random painting resembles herself? Aubrey Reynolds (Christmas Tree Lane, Legends Of Tomorrow) portrays Lily in the movie.

However, Lily gets determined to discover more information about the painting. And so she travels to Ireland. But Lily must solve two mysteries. First, discover the artist who created the mirror image of Lily. And second, find the source. Once she arrives in Ireland, Lily manages to discover the post office that helped with transporting the artwork.

But Lily’s life gets even more complicated at the post office. And the tricky situation stems from one of the managers of the post office. William, portrayed by Richard McWilliams (Vikings, Fair City), manages the post office with his sister Saoirse (Kathryn McKiernan). However, as Lily delves into the mystery, she and William develop a romantic interest in each other. And William must choose between love and revealing a secret!

Hallmark Channel Puts Love’s Portrait On Movie Schedule

Love’s Portrait features an experienced cast, director, and script writer. For instance, in addition to Richard McWilliams as William and Aubrey Reynolds as Lilly, Tamari Dunbar (Holly & Ivy, Matchmaker Christmas), Jessi Melton (Better Off Greg, Shelter The Lambs), and Jazmine Shaw (Beauty and the Billionaire, Quest For Love) star. And Siobhan Shanahan (Love/Hate, A Date For Mad Mary), Gerry Herbert (Wormhole In The Washer, The Inquiry), Geraldine McComish (The Ecstasy Of Isabel Mann, Whatever It Takes), and Brooke Grossinger (Sign It! American Sign Language Made Easy) join them. In addition, John Lyde (Her Deadly Reflections, The Christmas Dragon) teamed up with Brittany Wiscombe (Stalked In Paradise, A Crafty Christmas Romance) to pen the script.

Categorized by IMDB as both a drama and a romance, Love’s Portrait came to life with help from director John Lyde. Lyde previously contributed to Treasures Of The Heart and My One True Love. And you can see the results of his work when the film debuts on Sunday, September 4, at 9 p.m., Eastern, on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
