Hallmark Channel News: Matt Cohen and Brittany Bristow Star in Holiday Date

Holiday Date

Hallmark Channel news reveals Matt Cohen and Brittany Bristow have been cast in Holiday Date. Based on the synopsis, it sounds like a great romantic comedy with a holiday twist. Keep reading to find out what the film is about, who else is starring, the premiere date and watch a preview clip.

About Holiday Date

A woman named Brooke (Brittany Bristow) is dumped by her boyfriend, “Mr. Christmas” right before the holidays. Not wanting to explain anything to her family, she gets the help of an actor, Joel (Matt Cohen). He pretends to be her boyfriend and they head to her family’s place for the holidays.

When she finds out that Joel is actually Jewish, she worries that they won’t be able to pull it off. Their act works — for a time — but when her family discovers his background, they combine his Hanukkah traditions into their Christmas traditions. Both holidays are celebrated as they learn about each other’s holidays.

However, when the truth surfaces, Brooke has some explaining to do. Plus, they need to figure out if there really any feelings between them.

Preview for Hallmark’s Holiday Movie

A preview clip for Holiday Date shows Brooke is excited and slightly surprised about pulling this whole shenanigan off. However, the narrator teases,

“It’s all an act… until it isn’t.”

Later in the preview clip, the two characters are standing in front of a Christmas tree facing each other. Brooke comments,

“Boy, talk about a Christmas to remember!”

It sounds like love might be in the air for Joel and Brooke!
