Hallmark Channel News: Meghan Markle Movie Details Revealed – ‘Dater’s Handbook’ Will Shock Royalists

Meghan Markle is remembered for her role in Suits and is now known for being married to a prince, but she was also in a Hallmark movie before marrying Harry.

The Hallmark Channel is busy getting ready for the most romantic time of the year, Valentine’s Day. There are already four, great new and original romantic movies lined up. However, there is one film in the line-up that was made in 2016 and it stars none other than Meghan Markle.

While we know exactly who Meghan Markle herself ended up choosing, it’s great to see her working at her original profession, acting in a romance movie. The film was made two years prior to Meghan meeting and marrying Prince Harry. In it, she plays the role of Cassandra Barber.

The synopsis is basically about Cassandra Barber (Markle) who realizes she has a recurring habit of picking the wrong type of guy. Most of us can relate to! A relationship expert, Dr. Susie has written a new self-help book titled The Dater’s Handbook. Cassandra decides to follow the advice in the book while looking at potential suitors.

This is all well and good, but she ends up having to make a choice between two great guys. One is George (Jonathan Scarfe), a totally reliable and dependable guy, but the other is Robert (Kristoffer Polaha), a gorgeous, fun-loving guy. Both are handsome and personable, so how is Cassandra going to make her choice?

Can she change her old habits and trust the experts, even though her heart is telling her something different?

While Markle’s character is struggling to choose between two men in the film, as we know, her real love life is almost perfect. We say almost, as Meghan married into British royalty in May 2018, and she and Harry have a wonderful son, Archie.

While Meghan was used to the spotlight during her acting career, the paparazzi attention on her and Prince Harry soon became too much for the couple. Harry feared that Meghan would go the same way his mother, Princess Diana, who died in Paris while being chased by paparazzi.

Harry and Meghan recently shocked the world by announcing they were separating themselves from the British royal family. The family has moved to Canada where they are reportedly happier than ever before. So far it is unknown what line of work Harry will settle for, but Meghan is focusing on her original career, possibly starting with a voiceover deal for Disney.
