Hallmark Channel News: New Movie ‘Love in Winterland’ Stars Italia Ricci and Chad Michael Murray

The brand-new and original movie premieres on Saturday 11 as part of the “Winterfest” event on the Hallmark Channel.

Forming part of Hallmark’s romantic “Winterfest” program, “Love in Winterland” is an original movie starring Italia Ricci (“Designated Survivor”), Chad Michael Murray (“Riverdale”) and Jack Turner (“Stitchers”). Read on to find out what the film is all about.

Synopsis of ‘Love in Winterland’

Ricci plays the role of Alice Wilson, a hotel marketing executive working in Los Angeles, who enters a popular TV dating show and ends up being a finalist. Alice then travels back to her small home town in Vermont with bachelor Tanner Dylan (Turner) to film their final televised Hometown Date in all that snowy splendor.

However, things get complicated when they arrive at the historic inn where Alice, Tanner and the production crew are staying. It turns out the hotel is now owned by her high school sweetheart, Brett (Murray).

The producer of the show finds out about Brett’s unrequited love for Alice and she decides to stoke up their old, mutual feelings. This leads to a complicated love triangle, forcing Alice to sit down and think about her life choices and what (or who) is truly best for her. Should she stay with her new love, or return to her original sweetheart? Stay in Los Angeles, or move back home? This is a difficult decision to make.

Alice Road Productions Ltd. produced “Love in Winterland” with Charles Cooper as the producer. Executive producers were Neal Dobrofsky, Tippi Dobrofsky, Pat Williams, Jennifer Davisson, Michael Shepard, Harvey Kahn, Phillip Watson, and Bianca Versteeg. The script was written by Neal Dobrofsky and Tippi Dobrovky and the film director was Pat Williams.
