For almost a year, Hearties have been patiently waiting for When Calls the Heart season 7. During the last season, viewers were concerned when WCTH star Lori Laughlin was caught up in the college admissions scandal. This caused several of the remaining episodes to be sent back for editing to remove any scenes with Laughlin from the show. Some were edited and others were reshot by the Hallmark Channel, however, season 6 was still great, even if it ended up with one episode short.
After Loughlin’s character, Abigail, was sent to take care of her mother with her adopted son Cody, many fans believe Hallmark is still leaving a door open for her to return once her legal problems are over.
When Calls the Heart season 7
Season 7 begins with Elizabeth (Erin Krakow) carrying on in her role as a single parent while trying to make a romantic decision. Should she choose her Mountie, Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) or should she rather go for Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally). So far, all we can say is that time will tell.
Meanwhile, the romance between Dr. Shepherd and Nurse Faith is ongoing, with some problems along the way. Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton) are hoping to start a family, as Clara (Eva Bourne) and Jesse (Aren Buchholz) are planning their wedding.
Other events in the lives of Hearties’ favorite characters see Faith receiving a job offer in Hamilton, meaning she has to choose between her career and love. The season 7 premiere will see Henry Gowen (Martin Cummins) being interviewed by a magazine reporter, who ends up finding a more intriguing subject to write about.
