Murray told The Bradford Era that Brody’s mission is to get the town’s beloved pier back to its original beauty. He is also focused on getting the tourists to come back.

Elli is a city girl and a workaholic. When she meets Brody, he teaches her how important other things are in life, such as family, friends, good food and nature. For Ellie, she needs to have passion, something that reminds her why she got into this job in the first place. Michalka explained that when we first meet Elli, she really is struggling and Brody is able to show her how to enjoy and celebrate life.

Hallmark Channel News – Will ‘Sand Dollar Cove’ Get A Sequel?

Hearties know that some movies get a sequel. Murray told TV Insider that being a new father could inspire a follow-up movie to “Sand Dollar Cove.”

“I think the relationship that Aly and I were able to build throughout this journey we were on really helped onscreen chemistry. The film will bring a lot of nostalgia back, for all of us who have summer memories growing up with fishing or boats or clambakes or whatever it may be we cherished so very much.”

This movie premiered on June 26, but there will be additional showings. According to the official website for the Hallmark Channel, you can catch “Sand Dollar Cove) on Sunday, June 27 at 7 pm, Thursday, July 1 at 8 pm and on Saturday, July 3 at 1 pm.
