Hallmark Channel News: Spring Fever 2020 Movies Feature Several Soap Alums

Some of our favorite soap stars are in the line up of new, original romantic movies, as part of the Spring Fever programming event.

It is always great to see familiar faces in new and upcoming films. This is especially so with Hallmark’s Spring Fever programming event, with its four new and original movies. Read on to find out who is starring and don’t forget to watch the Spring Fever Preview Special on Saturday, March 21 at 11 pm ET/PT, hosted by Michael Rady and soap alum Bethany Joy Lenz.

Just My Type – Saturday, March 28 at 9 pm ET/PT

Bethany Joy Lenz (Michelle Bauer Santos in Guiding Light) stars as Vanessa Mills, an aspiring author and pop culture writer, who is staying in a bed and breakfast in Washington to get away from her ex.

There she meets up with Martin Clayborne (Brett Dalton), a famous reclusive author, and manages to land a coveted and exclusive interview with him for her new promotion. The pair becomes close, but it is when Vanessa gets home and receives a mysterious gift from Martin, that she sets out on the road to true happiness.

You’re Bacon Me Crazy – Saturday, April 4 at 9 pm ET/PT

Natalie Hall, who plays Colby Chandler on All My Children, stars in this film about an aspiring chef named Cleo, who enters a food truck competition, only to find she is up against a handsome chef named Gabe (Michael Rady). The competition between the pair turns out to be a good thing for both of them. The movie also stars Barbara Tyson, who plays Dawn Rollo in Another World, as Mary.

Fashionably Yours – Saturday, April 11 at 9 pm ET/PT

Fashionably Yours stars Kendrick Sampson as Rob (Jay Jordan in Days of Our Lives) and Kat Graham of The Vampire Diaries as Lauren. When Lauren loses up on a promotion at the top fashion magazine she has worked at for three years, she decides to quit and head home from Seattle. However Rob, the owner of the moving company she hires, decides to take Lauren on a tour of the city to show her just how great Seattle is. This leads to an unexpected romance.

Nature Of Love – Saturday, April 18 at 9 pm ET/PT

Nature Of Love stars Emilie Ullerup (Chesapeake Shores) as Katie, playing opposite Christopher Russell as Will. When Katie takes a trip to a glamping resort to write a feature for the magazine she works for, she is forced to face her fears while participating in the activities at the camp. She is aided by Will, a rugged nature guide and outdoorsman.
