Hallmark Channel News: Spring Movie Just My Type Stars Brett Dalton and Bethany Joy Lenz

The two popular actors will be starring in a new Hallmark Channel movie as part of its popular ‘Spring Fever’ programming event.

No doubt, many of us are looking forward to warmer spring weather and the accompanying new films from the Hallmark Channel. Part of this is good news for fans of Brett Dalton of Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D and Bethany Joy Lenz, known for One Tree Hill and Guiding Light.

Both actors will be starring in the new, original Hallmark movie Just My Type. The film is set to premiere on the Hallmark Channel as part of its annual “Spring Fever” programming event on Saturday, March 28 at 9 pm ET/PT.

A brief synopsis of Just My Type

The movie tells the story of aspiring novelist and pop culture writer Vanessa Mills (played by Lenz). She is trying to get away from constant run-ins with her ex. She decides to get away to a charming bed and breakfast in rural Washington.

By chance while staying there, Vanessa meets up with an elusive and reclusive author who lives in the town, Martin Clayborne (played by Dalton). She is immediately star-struck and makes it her mission to get an exclusive interview with the author.

This could lead to a big promotion for Vanessa if she can do it, so she keeps making up reasons to see Clayborne, which eventually intrigues the author. He is so intrigued, he eventually accepts her offer to let him tell his side of the story via her publication and to his devoted fans.

However, this also leads to sparks flying between the pair, as they spend more and more time together for the interviews. However, they couldn’t be more different when it comes to their aspirations and dreams.

Vanessa returns home to Portland and when she receives a mysterious gift from Martin, this forces her to make a surprise decision. This leads her to take her own advice and “go boldly in the direction of your dreams and live the life you imagine.”

Just My Type coming on the Hallmark Channel

The film Just My Type was produced by Two 4 The Money Media, with Ivan Hayden and Kim Arnott exec-producing and John Prince producing. The script is by S.W. Sessions and the film is directed by Paul Ziller.

It sounds like a good movie to watch on the Hallmark on Channel Saturday, March 28 at 9 pm ET/PT
