Plot of Taylor Cole’s New Film
Crime reporter Ruby Herring (Taylor Cole) teams up with Detective Jake Killian (Stephen Huszar) to solve another case. It’s a murder from five years ago, which means it is now a cold case. However, Ruby starts getting anonymous tips about an innocent person being framed for killing a psychic. Jake and Ruby do what they do best… work together and stop at nothing to find the real killer and give the victim justice.

In addition to Cole and Huszar, the characters include Derek Saylor (Mig Macario), John Herring (John Wesley Shipp), Dr. Luke Baldwin (Clayton James), Sloan Wallace (Courtney Richter), Richard Kirk, Sr. (Jerry Trimble), and Dakota Declan (Teagan Vincze). According to IMBD, the credits list include Chelsey Reist, Jason Cermak, Andrea Canning, James Kot, and John Flanagan.

In the preview clip, Cole explains that Ruby is now a crime beat reporter, which means she’s following in her father’s footsteps. The cold case is reopened based on a mysterious note that is left for Ruby. One scene shows Ruby opening up her door and picking up a letter that is on her front step.
It is suggested that the anonymous tips aren’t phone calls, but letters hand-delivered to the crime reporter’s home. In the distance, someone is watching her. They can zoom in, so they are either using a fancy camera or video recorder.

In addition, Cole says that the characters are “very interesting, to say the least.” Considering it was a psychic that was murdered and a man is using a crystal ball in the clip, it certainly seems so!

Hallmark Channel news reveals that Prediction Murder is the third installment of Ruby Herring Mysteries. The first was Silent Witness, which premiered in January 2019. In September 2019, Her Last Breath was released. The newest installment will premiere on April 5 on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries.
