American Rescue Dog Show: Hosts and Premiere Date
The American Rescue Dog Show is sponsored by Pedigree and for the third year, the special will air on Hallmark Channel. The two-day event kicks off on February 16, 2020, with hosts Rebecca Romijn and Rodney Peete. They are joined by co-hosts Ross Mathews and Larissa Wohl.
This year’s celebrity judges are Sandra Lee, Melissa Peterman, Gabby Douglas, Kevin Frazier and Jennie Garth. Ring judges that are coming back for the 2020 installment include Jennifer Gray, David Alexander, Lisa Arturo and Terry Simons.
Hallmark Channel News: ARDS Categories
It’s all about adopting rescue dogs with this special and there are 10 categories. Those include Belly Rubs, Ears, Couch Potato, Snoring, Underbite, Talking, Wiggling and Wrinkles. There are even Senior and Special Needs categories.
A preview of the 2020 American Rescue Dog Show teases that it will be just as fun and inspiration to watch this year as it has been in the past. It also sends a wonderful message that there are so many rescues that need homes.
Tails of Joy
The Hallmark Channel is also airing Tails of Joy. This animal special airs on February 17 and follows Paw Works. The description is as follows,
“Follow Paw Works rescue of a group of 60 dogs and cats, starting with transport from a rural area in Central California, caring for these animals, watching them begin to flourish, identifying their unique personalities, and ultimately placing them in loving homes.”
It is stated that Tails of Joy provides a powerful message of hope and urges people to adopt not shop. This special will be hosted by Larissa Wohl.
