However, the prime suspect ends up being a man from Tess’ past. She will face questions about how well she really knows Hunter Hall (Jon Cor).

Hallmark Channel news reveals that in the upcoming mystery, Tess is invited to participate in a game show. However, the host ends up dead, which means Tess and Logan O’Connor (Brennan Elliott) have another case to solve. However, it turns out that the prime suspect, Hunter, is a man from Tess’ past. She can’t believe that he would be capable of murder. However, when the clues all add up, Tess will be forced to ask herself if Hunter is really the man she thought he was. Of course, this is a mystery, so it remains to be seen if Hunter is guilty or not!

In a sneak peek of the new installment, Logan tells Tess that Hunter is hiding something. However, she insists that she knows him. Then, things start getting really suspicious and dangerous. Still, Tess has a hard time believing that Hunter could be responsible for any of this. However, it seems as the movie progresses, Tess releases that not everyone is as they seem… even a former flame.

In addition to Chabert, Elliott, and Cor, “Crossword Mysteries: Riddle Me Dead” also stars John Kapelos, Barbara Niven, Aadila Dosani, Peter Kelamis, and Lucia Walters. You can also expect to see Bruce Dawson, Jason Burkart, Parveen Dosanjh, Cardi Wong, Lane Edwards, Brad Kelly, and Danny Wattley.

This is just the latest in several “Crossword Mysteries.” The previous installments include “A Puzzle To Die For,” “Proposing Murder,” “Abracadaver,” and “Terminal Descent.” They all feature a crossword editor, Tess. In each movie, Tess crosses paths with Detective O’Connor. Throughout the franchise, fans have been waiting for a romance to develop between Logan and Tess. Will we finally see it? That’s unknown for now but Logan will once again become extremely protective of the New York Sentinel Crosswords editor.
