Hallmark Channel News: When Calls The Heart Season 7 – Premiere Date Announced

Impatient Hearties will be thrilled to hear that season 7 of their favorite Hallmark Channel series is coming on February 23, 2020.

Some fans feel like it has been forever since the last episode of “When Calls the Heart” season 6 aired. While Hallmark’s Winterfest has warmed their hearts in the meantime, everyone is impatient to see the premiere of season 7 and find out what happens next, particularly with Elizabeth and her two handsome suitors.

Entertainment Tonight broke the news that the official premiere date is Sunday, February 23, and the first episode bears the title “A Moving Picture.”

‘WCTH’ Spoiler alert!

According to ET, several of our favorite characters will face a number of obstacles in their lives. Erin Krakow spoke about the new season, saying there will be “lots of developments.” She said they will be picking up where they left off with that famous cliffhanger at the end of season 6.

Erin continued by saying fans will get to see where, exactly, her character, Elizabeth stands with Lucas and Nathan – but will she finally make a decision between the handsome mountie and the charming saloon owner? There is also the matter of Faith and Carson, and what will happen there, following Faith’s return home with a problem that could deal a blow to their relationship.

Krakow also said there will be a lot of fun things happening with the babies and that we’ll see more Rosemary and Lee’s relationship as it progresses. Erin also mentioned the wedding coming up in Hope Valley between Jesse and Clara. So yes, it sounds like the new season will be well worth the wait.

Speaking more about the cliffhanger, Erin mentioned that her character is moving on with her life. She has been making peace with the fact that she has lost Jack and is now standing on her own two feet and being a single mother.

However, she is now ready to fall in love again. Speaking of the two men in Elizabeth’s life, Krakow said her character is a little surprised to be at the stage of having feelings for a man. In fact, for two men, both of which are great guys, both single, generous and handsome. They are also both good with her child, are sensitive and good listeners. Sounds like they only need to learn how to cook to be the perfect men! How do you choose between two such great guys?

ET also spoke to the two men in question. Kevin McGarry plays Nathan and the way he put it was that one of the two suitors will push her to be better, while one needs Elizabeth to help him be better. His fellow suitor, Chris McNally (Lucas) agreed with Kevin, saying his character is able to push and challenge Elizabeth in the way that she needs. He went on to say Lucas has the most going for him in that way.

Now Hearties just have to wait a couple more weeks to watch the premiere of season 7 of “When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel on Sunday, February 23 at 8 pm ET/PT.
