The next episode of When Calls the Heart on the Hallmark Channel is titled “The Heart of a Father.” This relates to Nathan’s ex-convict father paying an unexpected visit and turning life upside-down for Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry).

When his father (Michael Hogan) turns up in town, Nathan Grant does his best to protect his niece Allie Grant (Jaeda Lily Miller) by trying to keep him away from her. However, he may be an ex-convict, but he is also Allie’s grandfather. She wants to get to know him and in the process, find out more about her late mother.

Nathan arrives at the school to collect Allie and Elizabeth Thatcher (Erin Krakow) does her best to support him. She even offers to help him host a sleepover for his niece and her friends. Nathan then decides to investigate his father’s crime.

When Calls The Heart Spoilers – What else is happening in Hope Valley?

While all that is going on, Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Bill Avery (Jack Wagner) decide to team up following rumors of food poisoning, which is badly affecting both their businesses.

Heading to the infirmary, Faith Carter (Andrea Brooks) is considering a new job opportunity that would mean her moving to Hamilton. She has to make a decision about medical school. In the meantime, Carson Shepherd (Paul Greene) reveals an alternative career path for her to take.

In other news, Rosemary LeVeaux Coulter (Pascale Hutton) is feeling slighted after no one wants to accept her advice. Jesse Flynn (Aren Buchholtz) and Clara Stanton (Eva Bourne) are busy planning their wedding. Jesse decides to go visit Lee Coulter (Kavan Smith) to get some tips on how to keep his future marriage on the right track.
