‘When Hope Calls” premiered on the Hallmark Channel in 2019. Since the season finale, there has been complete silence about the show’s future. It was never officially canceled, but not renewed either. Fans want to know one way or another what the deal is. Considering how long it’s been, we are going to say that it’s been shelved. This might not necessarily be Hallmark’s decision. Perhaps the writers got busy with other projects or couldn’t agree on how to proceed. It might be due to finances or other issues preventing it from going ahead. There could be many different reasons for not moving forward. However, we have to agree that fans should be told something.
