Hallmark Channel News: Y&R Alum Stars In ‘A Winter Getaway’, Get The Details On New Movie

Hallmark Channel news confirms that “New Year, New Movies” is continuing with “A Winter Getaway.” The movie stars Nazneen Contractor and Brooks Darnell, who fans may recognize as Dr. Nate Hastings from The Young and the Restless. About ‘A Winter Getaway’

According to the press release from Crown Media, Brooks Darnell stars as Joe who is by all accounts, just a regular Joe. However, he has a very generous pal who gives him a luxurious getaway package. He gets to fly on a private jet and has five-star accommodations, as well as a concierge service. The person who is assigned to make sure Joe has a splendidly perfect stay is Contractor’s character, Courtney.

Courtney’s job is to make sure that everything is just perfect for Joe and he gets everything he asks for (within reason of course). That means the two end up spending a lot of time together. As is the case with Hallmark movies, that means there is romance for Joe and Courtney! However, there is something he hasn’t told Courtney. He’s not rich, not even close. When she finds out the truth, will she still be interested?

When And How To Watch

“A Winter Getaway” will air on the Hallmark Channel. The premiere date is on Saturday, January 23 at 9 pm EST. If you miss the big debut or want to watch it again, additional showings will air on January 24, January 26, January 30, January 31 and February 11.

As Christmas ended and a new year began, they announced “New Year, New Movies.” Other productions added to the programming lineup in addition to “A Winter Getaway” include Taking a Shot at Love, A New Year’s Resolution, Two For the Win and Snowkissed.
