The Hallmark Channel recently launched its very own wine offerings, with best sellers like Love Red Wine Blend. And now the network has found the perfect complement to those wines in a new romance, “The Perfect Pairing.” The original movie about how a vintner meets up with a wine critic even inspired a new dessert wine from Hallmark.

The new movie begins with a highly influential wine critic Christina visiting a winery to which she previously gave a bad review. Seeking to remain anonymous before anyone discovers her identity, Christina attempts to leave quickly. But an icy sidewalk causes her to slip.

And after hitting her head, Christine struggles with her memory. In steps single dad Michael, who leads the Hollingbrook family. Christine recovers as the clan gets ready for their yearly wine tapping party. But the event includes a risky project about which Michael feels passionate: Ice wine. Can Christine help Michael, regain her memory, AND find love?!

Hallmark Channel News – Who Stars In ‘The Perfect Pairing’?

Nazneen Contractor plays Christina. The actress first starred in a Hallmark movie in 2020 in “The Christmas Ring.” Married to actor Carlos Rota, Nazneen has lived in India, Nigeria, and Toronto, Canada. She previously starred in “24.” 

Portraying Michael, Brennan Elliott began his Hallmark career in 2013 on “Cedar Cove.” Elliott joined Lacey Chabert in “All of My Heart,” followed by teaming up with Chabert again in the Crossword Puzzle Mystery franchise of films on Hallmark Movies & Mysteries. Most recently, Elliott appeared with Alison Sweeney in “Open By Christmas.”

Filmed at the Pellar Estates Winery in Ontario, Canada, “The Perfect Pairing” debuts on Saturday, Jan. 15 at 8 p.m. ET on Hallmark Channel. If you miss the premiere, Hallmark will broadcast the film again on Sunday, Jan. 16 at 6 p.m. ET; Thursday, Jan. 20 at 8 p.m. ET; Sunday, Jan. 23 at 10 p.m. ET, and Saturday, Jan. 29 at 4 p.m. ET.

Hallmark Channel News – How To Indulge In Hallmark’s New ‘Perfect Pairing’-Inspired Wine?

The Hallmark Channel offers its wine line-up on its website. The new Perfect Pairing offering consists of a sweet dessert wine in the form of a late harvest Sauvignon Blanc. Crafted from almost frozen grapes (37 degrees brix) at harvest, the wine features a finished residual sugar of 17% by weight.

Hallmark promises a blend of tropical fruit flavors mingling with sweet overtones and a golden hue. Currently available in a limited edition, a second bottle can be purchased at no additional shipping fee.
