Hallmark is getting ready to premiere six new, original movies in April as part of the 2022 Spring Into Love programming event. If you are ready for warmer weather, beautiful spring flowers and new romantic movies, it won’t be long. Premiering on Saturday, April 2, at 8 pm ET on Hallmark, Just One Kiss stars Krysta Rodriguez, Santino Fontana, Aida Turturro and Illeana Douglas.

Through a series of chance encounters, sparks fly between college literature professor Mia (Rodriguez) and a headliner at a Manhattan supper club, Tony (Fontana). What they don’t realize is that Mia’s mother, Marlene (Douglas) and Tony’s mother, Sofia (Turturro) are busy working some maternal matchmaking magic.

As reported by ET, Broadway veterans Santino Fontana and Krysta Rodriguez are set to perform two duets in the movie. In fact, they will be singing the classics, Fly Me to the Moon and Something Stupid.

Even better, Fontana will also sing four cover songs, It Had to be You, Someone to Watch Over Me, New York, New York and Over the Moon. A true musical treat for spring!

Hallmark Channel News – More About The Cast Of The Hallmark movie

Just One Kiss has an all-star cast. Krysta Rodriguez, who plays literature professor Mia, is an actress and singer. She is best known for her role as Ana Vargas in the NBC series Smash. She also starred as Summer Henderson in the NBC series, Trial & Error, and as Maxine Griffin in the ABC series Quantico. Meanwhile, Krysta also played Ms. Crumble in the Netflix comedy series, Daybreak.

Santino Fontana, who plays Tony, is known for his roles in Frozen, Crazy-Ex-Girlfriend and Sisters. In the latter, he played opposite Ann Harada, and both had previously worked together in the Broadway show, Cinderella.

Illeana Douglas, who plays Mia’s mother, has starred in a number of movies and has been on TV in 2001 as Angela in Six Feet Under. She also had roles in Entourage, Ugly Betty, Sprung and Goliath.

Aida Turturro, who plays Tony’s mother, Sofia, previously starred in The Sopranos, Deep Blue Sea and Sleepers.
