Synopsis of Hallmark’s Gingerbread Miracle

As per the official Hallmark synopsis, Maya (Merritt Patterson) is a freelance attorney. However, she has had a minor setback in her career and is living in the apartment above her parents’ garage. Instead of a law office, Maya is carrying out her work from the Casillas Panadería, while trying to figure her life out.

However, as Maya had worked in the Mexican bakery as a teenager, it has always had a warm spot in her heart. In fact, she had worked there along with her high school crush, Alejandro “Alex” Casillas (Jon Ecker), the owner’s handsome nephew. However, when Alex’s uncle asks for her help in selling the bakery, Alex decides to return home to spend one last Christmas at the bakery. In fact, he is also ready and willing to help Maya find a buyer for Casillas Panadería, whether she wants it or not. Could this lead them both to love?

This Christmas movie comes from Lighthouse Pictures, with Anne Carlucci, Kevin Leeson, Jamie Goehring and Shawn Williamson executive producing. The film is directed by Michael Scott and written from a script by Emma Claire Martin, John Benjamin Martin and Tracy Andreen.
