The Hallmark Channel When Calls The Heart spoilers tease that the series has been renewed, and will appear again on The Hallmark Channel in 2020! While there has not been a specific premiere date announced, previous seasons have premiered in February, so it’s a good chance that the show will premiere season 7 in February 2020.

A preview video of the new season teases heartwarming drama as always, with scenes of the various townspeople interacting, with weddings, new babies, and most of the same characters viewers have grown to know and love; Elizabeth Thatcher, played by Erin Krakow; Carson Shepherd, played by Paul Greene; Lucas Bouchard, played by Chris McNally; Nathan Grant, played by Kevin McGarry; Rosemary Coulter, played by Pascale Hutton; Bill Avery, played by Jack Wagner; and Leland Coulter, played by Kavan Smith.

There are scenes of Carson and Faith Carter’s (Andrea Brooks) wedding, Elizabeth with her new baby, Leland riding into town on a new-fangled motorcycle with a smiling Rosemary looking on, Bill playing with Elizabeth’s baby and many other heartwarming scenes.

Hallmark Channel News – What About Abigail Stanton, Will She Be Recast?

When Calls the Heart fans were worried about what would happen to their favorite show when Lori Loughlin, who played Abigail Stanton, became embroiled in a college admissions scandal. Hallmark producers edited out all scenes from Season 6 and explained the character’s exit by writing a scene with Elizabeth stating that one never knows what turns life will take, and that Abigail was called away to care for her ill mother back east.

She went on to say that Abigail and Cody Stanton (Carter Ryan Evancic) were like family, and that she would miss them dearly. It is unknown at this time whether Cody will return or if Abigail will be recast, this announcement was made back in May 2019, so viewers will have to watch for any new casting announcements for Season 7.

Abigail was last seen in the March 10, 2019 episode, working out a fantastic compromise with Lucas Bouchard, (Chris McNally) the new owner of the saloon, after there was a tie vote in the town council meeting. Lucas agreed to Abigail’s suggestion of keeping the bar open late only two nights a week, which seemed to satisfy the residents of Hope Valley. Abigail stated, “We take care of our own.”

When Calls The Heart Season 6 Was Full Of Reshot Scenes After Abigail Stanton’s Exit

With the editing out of scenes with Lori Loughlin in them, many scenes were reshot. It has not been announced whether this reshooting schedule has had any impact on the production of season 7 or not, and no episode spoilers for season 7 have been released yet. Viewers will have to keep an eye out for new announcements! We do know much of season 7 must have been completed or the preview video could not have been produced!
