Hallmark Channel describes this movie as “Former ice skater takes a spin at love after landing her dream job.” Lori Marshal is a former ice skater and she has gotten a job as a television news reporter. She is ambitious and she wants to do as much as she can for the station.

That includes moving up the ranks very quickly. Lori lands an assignment that could make or break her career. She knows that she will do an amazing job, but for some reason, she is dreading it.

She has to go back to her hometown of Greenhill, Michigan where the Ice Palace is closing. She used to skate here and holds the rink very close to her heart.

She knows that this assignment will help her move forward in her career, but she knows that the memories that will come up may not be the happiest for her.

Hallmark Channel Spoilers – Love Is In The Air

When Lori finally gets to the rink, she meets up with a man named Mark Johnson and his daughter, Zoe. Mark owns the rink and Zoe is working on her skating career.

The building is closing because it is going to be condemned. Lori finally understands how important the Ice Palace is to the community as she reports on its closing.

The network added, “But when she’s forced to take on a more personal angle in her story by delving more into Mark’s heart, she finds herself torn- could the finished version of her story turn out to be the final chapter of the Ice Palace and end any budding romance?”

An Ice Palace Romance will air on July 27 at 8 p.m. EST on the Hallmark Channel. It will stream on Peacock as well.
