Hallmark Channel Star John Reardon Gives Cancer Diagnosis Update

Actor John Reardon, who starred in Hallmark’s Believe in Christmas, recently shared an update on his cancer diagnosis with fans. The 49-year-old hopped on social media to provide some welcoming news to his followers, and CTS has the scoop.

Hallmark Channel Star John Reardon Provides Update on Social Media

Reardon uploaded some photos on Instagram on Christmas Eve; a current one of himself and one from a hospital bed, offering some wonderful news. He had been diagnosed with tonsil cancer; however, he is on the road to recovery.

In the IG caption he wrote, “Last night was my first night out after my recovery from tonsil cancer. Has been a long road between these two pictures and the difference is from the love and support I received from my people in my life.”

He continued to name people in his life who supported him during his journey, including his wife, his children, his parents, siblings, as well as fellow ‘Believe in Christmas’ Hallmark co-star Meghan Ory.

In addition, he acknowledges his in-laws, the family’s nanny, those in the community, and the healthcare workers who assisted with his recovery.

He closes the post by saying, “Kindness is an underappreciated quality in people. We should never undervalue it. Celebrate it and distribute it as much as possible. It is free and life-changing. Happy Holidays.”

Meghan Ory Shares Co-Stars IG Post

Meghan Ory ended up reposting John Reardon’s cancer-free news on her IG Stories, adding a nice response to her post.

In her Instagram Stories repost caption, she writes, “This man inspires me every day with his strength, his kindness, and love that didn’t falter once even when he was in insane pain. You are my hero. So proud of you @johnny_reardon_. And #cancerfree I love you.”
