Hallmark Channel To Premiere Love On The Danube: Love Song

Starring Nazneen Contractor, Wes Brown and Catherine Disher, Love On The Danube: Love Song is set on a beautiful cruise on the Danube River.

Love On The Danube: Love Song on Hallmark Channel

Airing as part of the May Is For Moms movie collection on Hallmark Channel, Love On The Danube: Love Song is the first of the movie series, starring Nazneen Contractor, Wes Brown, and Catherine Disher (Good Witch).

According to the official synopsis, the movie tells the story of fellow cruise passengers, Sarah and Jack, who play matchmaker for their widowed parents while cruising down the Danube River and visiting European cities. Sarah is traveling with her mom, while Jack is enjoying the river cruise with his dad. Sarah’s mom is set to sing in a theater show at one of the boat’s port stops.

Meanwhile, Sarah and Jack soon realize that their parents both love music and they make a plan for them to accidentally run into each other, so the widowed pair can get to know each other.

However, they are not experienced in matchmaking, but they are determined to introduce them, but things don’t go to plan, as their parents don’t really hit it off. However, this means that Sarah and Jack have more time together, to try and make a new plan. Meanwhile, instead of their parents finding love, Sarah and Jack develop feelings for each other

About the cast of the Hallmark movie

Nazneen Contractor, who plays Sarah, has previously starred in Children Ruin Everything.  She leads opposite Wes Brown, of A Biltmore Christmas fame.

According to the official IMDb page, other cast members include Catherine Disher (Good Witch) as Betty Stephenson, Richard Huw (Line of Duty) as Stanley, Mark Holden (World War Z) as Captain Magnusson and Adam Boncz (Shadow and Bone) as Lukas. Meanwhile, David Samartin (Harry’s Law) is in the role of Andre and Pamela Sinha (The Newsroom) plays Julia.

When does Love On The Danube: Love Song premiere on Hallmark Channel?

The first in the series of Love On The Danube movies premieres on Hallmark Channel on Saturday, May 17, at 8 p.m. ET. It will be available for Peacock subscribers up to 72 hours after the premiere, and the rom-com is already streaming on Hallmark+.

Meanwhile, all of the Love On The Danube movies will air on Hallmark Channel, despite streaming in September 2024 on Hallmark+. The initial intention was to create original movie content for the newly rebranded streaming channel and later to air on Hallmark Channel six to eight months later.

Meanwhile, the feel-good network changed its rebranded streaming channel. Instead of premiering original scripted and unscripted content, all first-premiered movies on the OG channel or Hallmark Mystery will now stream the next day on Hallmark+.
