Hallmark Channel’s Spring Lineup Includes Daytime Soap Stars

Hallmark Channel has a sweet love affair with daytime drama stars, as actors and actresses from this genre (both past and present) tend to star in many of their movies and series.

Wonder what’s on their lineup for spring? Here’s an overview of the featured films/shows fans can expect over the next couple of months and the daytime drama stars who are in them.

When Calls The Heart – Jack Wagner

When Calls the Heart (WCTH) is wrapping up its 12th season, very soon. Fans of Jack Wagner, who was on The Bold and the Beautiful (ex-Nick Marone), General Hospital (ex-Frisco Jones), and Santa Barbara (ex-Warren Lockridge), is a staple on the show.

Wagner plays the character Bill Avery, and audiences can catch WCTH’s season finale on Sunday, March 23rd. Bill will be racing against Lucas Bouchard (Chris McNally) and Edie Martel Canfield (Miranda MacDougall) to find gold.

In other WCTH season finale news, Elizabeth Thorton (Erin Krakow) and Nathan Grant (Kevin McGarry) will dive into shenanigans before graduation, and Minnie (Natasha Burnett) is set to get a big surprise.

Hearts Around the Table: Shari’s Second Act

Meanwhile, Young and the Restless viewers can catch Mishael Morgan (ex-Hilary Curtis and ex-Amanda Sinclair) along with Brendon Morgan, (her co-star from the Hallmark Channel movie ‘Christmas with a Kiss’) in ‘Hearts Around the Table’.

The movie follows a woman who moves back to her hometown hoping to trigger her passion for art, once again. She also dives into a romance with the local gallery owner. The Hallmark Channel flick is slated to debut on Saturday, March 29th.

Journey To You

Lastly, General Hospital alum, Erik Valdez (Trey Mitchell) stars in the Hallmark romcom movie where a woman unexpectedly meets a love interest while walking along the Camino de Santiago.

Valdez played Trey, Kate Howard/Connie Falconeri’s (Kelly Sullivan) son from 2012 to 2013 on the soap. ‘Journey to You’ premieres on the Hallmark Channel, on Saturday, April 19.
