It feels like yesterday that Lacey and her husband David Nehdar first welcomed their daughter Julia to the family.

However, time flies for busy parents as Chabert celebrates her daughter, returning to school for the 2023-2024 year. Meanwhile, the iconic actress has decided to document the event.

The Mean Girls alum shared a makeup-free selfie on her Instagram Story, as Lacey waited for Julia to get out of class for the day.

Meanwhile, she used this peaceful moment to share words of inspiration to fans who saw her Story.

Alongside the image, Lacey wrote in the caption, “Hi from the car line. #schoolpickup,” adding “Hope you’re having a great day.”

Family event in the making

While she didn’t share exactly when Julia returned to school, Lacey hasn’t held back about letting her followers know about an upcoming big family event.

Her cute daughter celebrates her seventh birthday in September and Chabert posted a video on Instagram, outlining everything she is doing to prepare for her daughter’s birthday.

In the clip, which can be seen here, Lacey reveals how she created an adorable DIY sparkly treat cart for Julia’s big day. She captioned the video, “Getting ready to celebrate!” adding the hashtags “#DIY,” “#Birthdays,” “#family” and “#everydayisacelebration.”

Lacey’s fellow Hallmark stars were quick to respond, with Jen Lilley writing, “so cute!!! Awesome job!!!”
