Hallmark+ has announced the lead cast of the new upcoming series Ripple. The all-star cast includes Ian Harding, Frankie Faison, Julia Chan and Sydney Agudong. Read on to find out more about the upcoming series, set in New York City.

Cast of the new Hallmark+ series Ripple

The lead cast of Ripple is Frankie Faison, Julia Chan, Ian Harding, and Sydney. All are set to star in the Hallmark+ series Ripple.

The series is created by Michele Giannusa (The Dead Girls Detective Agency), and tells the story of four strangers in New York City, whose lives begin to serendipitously intersect. Walter (Faison), Kris (Chan), Nate (Harding) and Aria (Agudong) have unknowingly crossed paths many times, but have never met.

However, as they each face challenges in their lives, their actions create a ripple effect that ultimately connects them. Meanwhile, the series delivers a powerful message of hope: “Just wait for the rainbow, some of the best things in life can’t happen without the storm.”

Kelly Garrett, VP of Programming at Hallmark Media said:

Walter, Kris, Nate and Aria are the heart of Ripple and it was essential that we get it right in casting those roles. Frankie, Julia, Ian and Sydney are magic as our core four. We cannot wait for them to guide viewers through this romantic look at life and humanity in New York City.

Currently, production on Ripple is happening in Toronto and the hour-long drama series is set to premiere in 2025.

Where have you seen the cast before?

Frankie Faison is renowned for his work in Banshee, The Wire, Do The Right Thing and Coming to America. Meanwhile, Julia Chan starred in the Netflix series Archive 81, Katy Keene and Saving Hope.

Ian Harding starred in all seven seasons of Pretty Little Liars and recently appeared on the big screen in Ford v Ferrari. He will also star in the TV mini-series, Holidazed and in Our Little Secret. Sydney Agudong has previously starred in On My Block, Infamously in Love and West Michigan.

Behind the scenes of Ripple

According to Deadline, executive producers for Ripple are Michele Giannusa, Joni Lefkowitz (who also serves as showrunner), Jocelyn Hamilton and Darren Giblin. Meanwhile, Amanda Tapping is also an executive producer and serves as supervising director and pilot director.
