Hallmark Heats Up Those Summer Nights With 7 New Original Movies

As summer begins in the northern hemisphere, Hallmark Channel is already looking forward to its annual Summer Nights programming event. The popular feel-good network is releasing five new, original movies each Saturday in August.

Read on to find out the details, including a film set in Costa Rica. Moreover, Hallmark Mystery is releasing two new movies for Sleuthers to enjoy.

Summer Nights on Hallmark

Hallmark Media has announced its Summer Nights 2024 programming event, including five, new, original romantic movies each Saturday in August. According to TV Insider, a press release read:

Viewers can treat themselves to feel-good summer fantasy, love stories that will transport them back in time to make their dreams come true, to beautiful Costa Rica for a wedding destination, and to a place where they come face-to-face with their dream man.

Not to be outdone, its sibling channel Hallmark Mystery also made an announcement about two, new movies, saying:

Viewers will be taken on a wild crime-solving ride with the help of man’s best friend, while one of Hope Valley’s favorite couples work to prove a childhood friend’s innocence.

Junebug

Starring: Autumn Reeser and Aaron O’Connell

Premiere date: Saturday, August 3, 8 pm ET/PT

Plot:

When an eight-year-old version of herself starts appearing to her, Juniper (Autumn Reeser, The Wedding Veil) she soon realizes that her life is not what she had hoped for as a child. Young Junebug pushes Juniper to achieve her dreams and to start writing again. Moreover, she pushes her to collaborate with the cute artist (Aaron O’Connell, The Haves and the Have Nots) that she recently met to get her life back on track.
