Hallmark Hunk Brant Daugherty & Wife Kim Expecting Baby No. 2

Hallmark Channel movie and Pretty Little Liars star, Brant Daugherty and his wife Kim are looking forward to welcoming their second child. The actor told E! News about how they are preparing for their second child and their two-year-old son Wilder’s role in the baby bump reveal. Moreover, Daugherty recently shared the related cute image on his Instagram page.

Brant Daugherty has starred in five Hallmark movies, A Royal Runaway Romance, Mingle All the Way, The Baker’s Son, Timeless Love and #Xmas. Meanwhile, he married his wife, Kim, in 2019, after co-starring in the rom-com holiday movie A Christmas Movie Christmas.

After welcoming their son Wilder a couple of years ago, the couple is now expecting another boy on New Year’s Day. What makes the news special is that Wilder, 2, broke the happy news for his father, presenting him with a box Kim made with “bun in the oven” emblazoned on it.

Speaking to E! News, Kim said she told Wilder he was going to be a big brother, adding, “No go tell Daddy.” Moreover, the cute tot took the box to Brant, handing it to him. Naturally, Brant recalls that “unexpected moment,” saying:

My toddler just came up to me with a box and I had no idea what it was!

While the Pretty Little Liars star was confused at first, he then got excited, saying, “We had been trying, so the surprise didn’t blow my mind, but it was exciting.”

Looking back to when Kim was pregnant with Wilder

This cute moment brings to mind the way Kim shared with Brant when she was pregnant with Wilder. In that case, she placed a positive pregnancy test in a box for Brant, labeled, “Happy early birthday.”

When Brant and Kim were asked how they would handle having two small children, he said, “We think we’ll be OK,” adding, “There’s two of us and there’s two kids, so the math is working in our favor so far.”

Meanwhile, Kim spoke about the prospect of having two little ones, saying Wilder is two and he does show his age sometimes, admitting:

I definitely look at Brant and say, ‘How are we possibly going to do this?’ I know we will, and, generally, Wilder has been a very, very easy child and is very well-behaved and good-natured.

Moreover, the couple is looking forward to seeing Wilder interacting with his baby brother. Brand said he doesn’t think the toddler really understands it yet, but that he is “really excited about getting to be a big brother.”

So far, Brant and Kim are holding off on deciding their second son’s name for now. However, he said they do discuss it occasionally, saying:

We both come to the table every once and awhile with some ideas and we shoot each other down and we retreat to our corners wounded to figure out some new options. Nothing’s the winner yet, but the winner may be in the list.
