Hallmark: Hunter King And Rhiannon Fish Tease Future Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths

Sleuthers have been hoping for another Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths movie on Hallmark, but so far no news is out. However, Hunter King & Rhiannon Fish, who play the roles of Nikki and Nora, did recently tease a future for their sleuthing characters.

As fans of Hallmark movies know, Hunter King and Rhiannon Fish have starred in several new, original movies, including A Professional Bridesmaid and A Picture of Her. However, while happy to see the two actresses on the screen, Sleuthers are longing for another movie in a possible Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths franchise.

Meanwhile, Just Jared asked Hunter and Rhiannon about the future of their Signature Mystery, Nikki & Nora: Sister Sleuths. The movie premiered last fall and featured fraternal twins Nikki and Nora. The siblings are pushed into each other’s lives after inheriting a private investigator business. When Nikki and Nora do solve a murder, they do realize the advantages of their differences.

Hallmark fans enjoyed the murder mystery, but are wondering if they will get to see more of the sister’s detective agency. When neither King nor Fish could say much about a second movie (no spoilers!), does this mean there is another in the works? It looks like there could be.

Rhiannon ‘not allowed to say anything’

When asked about a possible new movie, Rhiannon said, “Let’s just say I’m not allowed to, which is so annoying,” adding:

I’m not allowed to talk about it. Not allowed to say anything, but, I am really very, very happy with, some of the news we’ve recently got.

Meanwhile, Fish added that she would love the twin sisters to head to Hawaii. Fans will remember that Hunter King filmed Hidden Gems there and it looks like Rhiannon was a little jealous. “I wanna [sic] go to Hawaii because [Hunter] did Hidden Gems [there],” adding, “Let’s do with Sister Sleuths in Hawaii. That works for me.”

In Hunter’s case, she just looks forward to a good mystery, saying:

In my head, I imagine Rhiannon and I running around town trying to solve mysteries in ridiculous disguises making absolute fools of ourselves. Dream.

Meanwhile, Fish told Just Jared that King was the “worst influence” for her when it comes to laughing in the middle of a take. She added that this was due to their close friendship. “She’s the worst influence I’ve ever had,” she said, adding, “I’ve never in my life been more unprofessional than when I’m working with Hunter, and I don’t know what it is.”

According to Rhiannon, they were ruining “take after take after take,” while the film crew told them, “We’ve got a day to make ladies. You guys are being unprofessional.”

However, those with a sense of humor will understand when there is someone that “gives you the giggles.” Fish added that Hunter makes her laugh like nobody else. In fact, due to this, there were times the crew had to use stand-ins for the two ladies so they wouldn’t break character.

Luckily, the two ladies did manage to keep a straight face for all the images taken on the set!
