According to the official synopsis, singer Jane DaSilva (Jodie Sweetin) inherits the family foundation, a non-profit detective agency that helps people who are unable to help themselves.

Meanwhile, Jane’s Aunt Sadie (Paris Jefferson) and Detective John Cameron (Stephen Huszar) act as her mentors. With their help, she takes on her first case, surrounding a mother’s untimely death years before. As Jane investigates a multi-level marketing company, that took advantage of her client’s (Danielle Smith) fragile mom, she finds that digging up the past can be dangerous.

Paris Jefferson plays Jane’s Aunt Sadie and is known for her appearance in Y: The Last Man, The Casebook of Sherlock Holmes and Agatha Christie’s Poirot.
