Hallmark’s Channel News – New Primetime Series The Way Home
Hallmark’s new primetime series is a family drama, following the lives of three generations of women in the Landry family. Meanwhile, the series also has a time travel twist, making it very intriguing and production will start this summer in Ontario, Canada.
Deadline quotes the official synopsis for the new primetime show, The Way Home. In the series, Kat Landry, her 15-year-old daughter Alice and Kat’s estranged mother, Del, are all strong, wilful and independent. 20 years prior to the show’s timeline, life-changing events created a chasm within their family that has yet to be repaired.
In fact, Kat and Del are still not on speaking terms. Meanwhile, Alice has never met her grandmother and is unaware of the reasons for their fractured family. Meanwhile, all three generations come together under one roof for the first time in more than 20 years. This leads to a surprising discovery that unexpectedly sets the three women on a path toward healing and helps them find their way back to each other.
