Hallmark Media Announces 40 Christmas Movies For Countdown To Christmas & More

At a recent presentation, Hallmark Media announced that fans can expect 40 Christmas movies in the Countdown to Christmas programming event.

However, they also revealed that viewers will have access to more than 4,000 hours of festive programming this year. But that’s not all, as the feel-good network plans to make more unscripted shows, dubbing them “reality with heart.” Moreover, Hallmark Media announced a new item, “One Hallmark” as it rebrands itself.

Recently, Hallmark Channel has made several changes and the latest relates to their branding, which has now been dubbed “One Hallmark.” Meanwhile, Ed Georger, EVP of Ad Sales and Digital Media at Hallmark Media was quoted by Adweek, while talking about the new branding.

While Hallmark started out as a family-owned card company some 115 years ago, it has grown massively and also includes DaySpring, Crayola and more. Meanwhile, the next part of their branding was movies and reality shows.

Hallmark is probably known by everyone who watches TV, especially during its Countdown to Christmas Programming event. Millions of viewers watch at least a part of Hallmark’s holiday movies. Moreover, the feel-good network is renowned for its holiday coverage.

In 2025, 40 Christmas movies are set to premiere during the Countdown to Christmas. Moreover, two series, namely Mistletoe Murders, and a new limited series, The Twelve Dates of Christmas, will form part of the network’s programming and be available on linear and streaming.

Meanwhile, Mistletoe Murders stars Grey’s Anatomy alum, Sarah Drew, along with Peter Mooney and Sierra Marilyn Riley. Moreover, the murder mystery series features Emily Lane, the owner of a year-round Christmas store who solves murders.

Hallmark and unscripted shows

Recently, the network dipped its toes into unscripted territory, including the Jonathan Bennett-led Finding Mr. Christmas, a competition that is run to find the next holiday Hallmark Hunk for a new movie.

Meanwhile, the feel-good network launched two major fan experiences, including two cruises, where fans got to meet some of Hallmark’s biggest stars. Moreover, they got the chance to preview a new movie, and enjoy the fun holiday traditions features in Christmas movies. This was so successful that they sold out two ships, with 70,000 more people on the waiting list.

Moreover, Hallmark held a Christmas Experience over four weekends, where fans got to meet their favorite Hallmark stars and tuck into some hot chocolate, while participating in holiday activities. This attracted more than 100,000 people from around the globe.

Even better, these major components of the “One Hallmark” experience are coming again in 2025.

    Hallmark is not family focused anymore. I have been enjoying Great American family. It’s clean and inspirational with good family entertainment.
