Hallmark Media just made mystery fans happy by announcing that Mistletoe Murders with Sarah Drew has officially been renewed for season 2. With the new season coming, fans might learn who Drew’s character, Emily Lane, actually is.

According to Deadline, on Monday, Hallmark announced that it had renewed the hit mystery series Mistletoe Murders. This means that Sarah Drew will return as Emily Lane, Peter Mooney as Detective Sam Wilner, and Sierra Marilyn Riley as Sam’s teenage daughter, Violet. She works for her mom at Under the Mistletoe, the year-round store for all things Christmas.
Meanwhile, Lara Amersey is back as June Hubble, Jean Yoon will be back in the role of Sue, the owner of the local diner. Moreover, Good Witch alum Kylee Evans is back as Emily’s frenemy, Brooke. Most likely, other cast members will also return for season 2, along with some special guest stars.

Meanwhile, with that jaw-dropping cliffhanger at the end of season 1, fans are wanting to know “Who is Emily Lane?” Moreover, Sleuthers are looking forward to revisiting Fletcher’s Grove, with its romance and mystery.

Mistletoe Murders is based on the Audible Original of the same name starring Cobie Smulders. Meanwhile, the Audible creator, Ken Cuperus is the showrunner for the Hallmark series and has created new stories for those who love the Audible Original.
When does filming start for season 2 of Mistletoe Murders?
Reportedly, filming of season 2 of Mistletoe Murders will start later this year. Hopefully, this won’t fall in the heat of summer like it did last year. This means packing ice packs, fake snow and winter jackets!
