According to Hallmark’s official synopsis, Maggie Delaney (Boston) is a divorced mother. After her she learned that her ex-husband was getting married, she decided to venture into the dating world with the encouragement of her mother Barb (Karen Kruper) and teen daughter Emma (Zoë Christie).

Meanwhile, Michael (Campbell), the single father of her son’s friend, offers to help her by going on a “practice date.” Moreover, Michael also volunteers his public relations expertise so Maggie can prepare for her upcoming TV interview on a local program, spotlighting her bakery, Sweet Sensations. However, her dating adventures bring mixed results and she and Michael spend more time together. Due to this, it is soon apparent that their friendship could turn into something more. Meanwhile, Barb and Emma start romances of their own.

As the three generations of the Delaney family explore the highs and lows of modern dating, they soon discover that love and romance can be found by anyone, at any age, and sometimes where you least expect it.

Rachel Boston plays the divorced mother and has been seen in SEAL Team and A Carousel Christmas. Meanwhile, Paul Campbell (The Santa Stakeout, Battlestar Galactica) plays Michael. The role of her mother is played by Karen Kruper, known for her role in Color My World With Love, and Zoë Christie (Honor Society) plays her teen daughter, Emma.
