As reported by Inside Ottawa Valley, Hallmark’s camera crew was seen in action in Carleton Place and Almonte in Ottawa, Canada. Apparently, on October 26, filming was ongoing in Carleton Place at 58 Bridge Street, the home of Mr. Mozzarella.

Love in High Gear
Carleton Place and Almonte are renowned as “picture-perfect backdrops for Hallmark Channel movies.” The news site added that there are two movies currently in production, one titled Love In High Gear and another untitled movie.
Reportedly, on October 24 and 25, filming happened in Carleton Place at the Grand Hotel in Ottawa. The hotel’s owner, Rod Scribner told the news website, “They had the entire second floor, wedding suite and fine dining room.”
Moreover, filming continued on October 26 at 58 Bridge Street, the site of Mr. Mozzarella.
It was reported that rental trucks carrying equipment were parked along College Street in Ottawa. Filming apparently went on for around five hours before moving to another location in Stittsville.
Local man stars in Hallmark Movie
Carleton Place resident Jordan McGregor told the newspaper that he was on set for around 10.5 hours, playing the role of a bar patron.
“I was standing in the background having a conversation with a beautiful woman,” he said.
Meanwhile, McGregor has starred in other TV movies, notably A Christmas Homecoming, which was filmed in Carleton Place in 2022. Speaking of the opportunity, he said:
It is not only good experience and credentials but also socially awesome. You meet a wide variety of people who have different goals, talents, attitudes, accomplishments and views about the movie industry.

I have read that Ryan Paevey is not in this movie. Everyone is assuming that is a hallmark movie. The article says a hallmark film crew how do they know they are from hallmark. No where when looking at Canadian film production happening now does it mention who the movie is for and they do post who the movie is for. We shall see but I think this movie is not a hallmark movie because if it was I believe Ryan would be involved since he is signed with the . Cindy is not signed with anyone so perhaps this is a Great American Family or UpTV movie. And no hallmark just made the movies they do not own the rights.
