‘Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery’ On Hallmark Movies & Mysteries

Back in May this year, “Days of Our Lives” star Alison Sweeney teased some upcoming good news. This was at a time when “General Hospital” star Cameron Mathison was conveniently “quarantined” in Vancouver, Canada. Of course, it turns out the pair was, at the time, busy filming the new murder mystery!

Soon afterwards, both actors revealed that they would be reuniting for the sixth installment of the Hallmark Movies & Mysteries series of “Murder, She Baked,” titled “Sweet Revenge: A Hannah Swensen Mystery.” However, now we have a release date for the murder mystery of Sunday, August 8, at 9 pm, which isn’t that far away.

A New Hallmark Murder Mystery

New details have been released for the next Eden Lake, Minnesota adventure, based on the novels of Joanne Fluke. Local baker Hannah Swenson and detective Mike Kingston, have recently become engaged, but while they are basking in a romantic glow, a murder happens at Hannah’s gym, leading her need to sleuth to interfere with Mike’s investigation as usual.

Sweeney recently posted an image to her Instagram with her cast mate, Barbara Nivens. In her caption, she celebrates her “beautiful dear friend.”

In her caption, Alison wrote, “Celebrating this #winewednesday with my beautiful dear friend @barbaraniven ! We are so thrilled to be bringing back the characters Hannah & Delores to screens this summer.” So, now we know for sure that Hannah’s mom, Delores will also star in the sixth installment of the murder mystery.

Mathison also posted an image to Instagram, writing what a blast it had been shooting up in Canada with “these guys.”
