Fall is a fun time of year for many, especially Hallmark Channel fans. News has surfaced that the network is planning a few movies before their ever-popular “Countdown To Christmas 2024” drops and CTS has all the details, below!

Hallmark Mystery Fall Preview – “The Cases Of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening”

The second movie in the Mystery Lane series is premiering on Hallmark Mystery Friday, September 13 at 9 p.m. (ET), and is titled, The Cases of Mystery Lane: Death Is Listening. This stars Paul Campbell and Aimee Garcia.

As per the synopsis on Parade.com, Alden and Birdie Case return, and as their relationship gets stronger, they realize a mutual interest when it comes to true crime.

Still, when the duo’s favorite podcaster ends up dead, The Cases listen to the clues to try and sold the murder! Will they be successful?

Hallmark Mystery Fall Preview – “A Sprinkle Of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery”

One of the more popular Hallmark darlings is Hannah Swensen, played by fan favorite, Alison Sweeney. She’s returning in the fall with another installment of her series, called A Sprinkle of Deceit: A Hannah Swensen Mystery. Along with Sweeney, Victor Webster returns, as well as Lisa Durupt, Barbara Niven, and Tess Atkins.

Premiering Friday, October 4 at 9 p.m. (ET) Sprinkle of Deceit will center around Hannah catering Lonnie’s high school reunion. Things take a tense turn when Lonnie’s old friend Darcy, has a fight with her boyfriend. Lonnie takes Darcy home; however, the next day, Darcy has been found dead.

Of course, Lonnie is the number one person of interest, but Hannah and Chad will work to prove his innocence. Still, Hannah will find herself in the crosshairs of Darcy’s killer. In other news for the movie, Delores unexpectedly jumps into the world of acting, while also working on the case.

Hallmark Mystery – What About Christmas?

Once Countdown to Christmas 2024 kicks off, will there be some murder mysteries along with the feel-good holiday movies fans have grown accustomed to? Most likely!

In 2023, Mystery On Mistletoe Lane was released, starring Erica Cerra and Victor Webster, and a new mystery holiday series is on the horizon for 2024, which will stream on Hallmark+.

Mistletoe Murders is set for the new streaming platform, over this year’s Christmas season. The series centers around the audible podcast of the same name.

It stars Peter Mooney and Sarah Drew, and Season 1 will have six episodes (which matches the first season of the podcast). A premiere date has not been set yet, so stay tuned!
