Hallmark Mystery News: Skyle Samuels Offers An Update On “Aurora Teagarden Mystery” Reboots

Aurora Teagarden Mystery fans were more than disappointed when Candace Cameron Bure jumped shipped from Hallmark to Great American Family (GAF), as it meant the series was not returning.

With that being said, a prequel movie premiered in 2023 that starred Skyler Samuels (Aurora Teagarden, Evan Roderick (Arthur Smith), and Marilu Henner (Aida Teagarden) called Aurora Teagarden: Something New. Are more movies coming?

Samuels was recently interviewed by Us Magazine about a new movie, My Dreams Of You. Of course, the conversation turned very quickly to her role in Aurora Teagarden: Something New. 

The good news is, Samuels was able to offer fans an update on the popular series by stating that at the beginning of 2024, two more installments were made for the Aurora series. She added, that “they’re so fun”.

In addition, she hints at what fans should expect from the two new movies, stating, “… the more of these movies we make, like, the more into some of the juicy backstory we get to have with Arthur and Aurora and…[will they], won’t they stuff.”

The original movie with Cameron Bure did tease at “something between the two” … but was there? Fans will have to tune in to find out!

Lastly, Samuels also addressed that the reason Hallmark decided to make more reboot movies for the Aurora Teagarden series is because the fans embraced them and her portrayal of Aurora, in light of Cameron Bure’s departure, which Skyler states she was so “grateful” for.

Hallmark Mystery News – When Will The Two New Aurora Teagarden Movies Premiere?

As of this writing, Hallmark Mystery has not released the premiere dates for the new Aurora Teagarden movies.

The network just announced the last two mysteries for this year, which were the second Cases of Mystery Lane and another Hannah Swensen flick. Therefore, there is a good chance the Aurora Teagarden films will premiere in 2025.
