Hallmark and the NFL made the official announcement on Thursday that, due to the huge success of Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story, with Hunter King and Tyler Hynes, they are releasing another collaboration, this time starring Josh Allen and Hailee Steinfeld.

Meanwhile, according to Us Weekly, Allen is the super Buffalo Bills quarterback and is looking to move Travis Kelce and Taylor Swift down a few notches as the top romantic relationship in the stadium.

The movie will premiere as part of the 16th annual Countdown to Christmas, and is the first holiday movie officially announced by the feel-good channel for 2025.

Hints first appeared on social media on Wednesday, as Hallmark mentioned some big Christmas news to come. Later that same evening, it shared a video featuring Damar Hamlin, the Bills’ safety.

About the new movie

Darren Abbott, Hallmark’s Chief Brand Officer, shared a statement about the new addition, saying:

The incredible success of last year’s partnership with the NFL and the Kansas City Chiefs far exceeded our expectations.

We are thrilled to team up with the Bills this year for a new holiday movie filled with heart, family and the classic Hallmark storytelling that our fans know and love, all set against the special community the Bills franchise has nurtured throughout its storied history.

Meanwhile, that history includes the fact that the Buffalo Bills have never won a Super Bowl, after losing four in a row during the early 1990s.  Moreover, the Minnesota Vikings also had four Super Bowl losses, while the New England Patriots and Denver Broncos have each lost five Super Bowls

 Due to this, the story could certainly include the biggest wish of all Bills fans – they want to go to the Super Bowl and win.

Who is in the cast of the new Christmas movie?

So far, Hallmark hasn’t shared details of the cast, but they do expect to have more details in “the coming months.” Meanwhile, the high-profile movie will likely include some of Hallmark’s most popular cast members.

Fans might ask if Tyler Hynes and Hunter King could make a cameo in the movie. It would make the movie even more special if they did.
