Is Hallmark Taking a Break For The Paris 2024 Olympics?

The Paris 2024 Olympics are already in full swing. Some of the events have taken place this week. But the Opening Ceremony airs on Friday, July 26th at 7:30 EST on NBC and Peacock. That means a lot of networks will be scrambling with their summer programming.

 

Hallmark just concluded the 11th season of When Calls the Heart so it won’t be impacted. But fans wonder if there will be other scheduling changes. Hallmark Channel is currently celebrating Christmas in July. The network has no plans to halt programming. The network will air its Summer Nights programming in August.

This includes five new movies on the Hallmark Channel. Hallmark Mystery will premiere two new mysteries. Those who need a break from the constant Olympics programming can change over to Hallmark Media. It’s also an ideal option for those who still want some cozy romantic movies and mysteries to enjoy on those hot summer nights.

Feel-Good Programming On Hallmark Channel

Hallmark Channel has become known for its feel-good programming. The network is airing its Christmas in July. There is one more new movie left. An Ice Palace Romance premieres on Saturday, July 27 at 8 p.m. ET. The film stars Celeste Desjardins and Marcus Rosner.

The synopsis from Hallmark Media reads, “A journalist faces old fears when she returns to her hometown ice rink to cover a story. With the help of the owner and his young daughter, she begins to reevaluate her life’s purpose.”

The first movie in the Summer Nights programming is Junebug, which stars Autumn Reeser and Aaron O’Connell. The premiere is on Saturday, August 3 at 8 p.m. EST. The last movie in the roundup is My Dreams Of You, which premieres on Saturday, August 10 at 8 p.m. EST.
