Skyler Samuels returns in the second prequel of the Aurora Teagarden Mysteries on Hallmark+, along with Evan Roderick, Marilu Henner and When Calls the Heart star, Kavan Smith.

Aurora Teagarden Mysteries: A Lesson In Murder on Hallmark+

The next in the prequel movies for the popular Aurora Teagarden Mysteries is set to premiere on Hallmark+ as part of the streamer’s increasing programming. According to IMDb, Aurora teaches a true crime literature class at the local university.

One night when she is supposed to help a student, she is shocked to find him dead. However, thanks to her recent class lecture, she sees the signs on this student’s body that point to his having been murdered. Aurora is now determined to identify the killer.

She puts up her murder board and tries to figure out who could be guilty of this horrific crime, but it seems an impossible case to solve, as the potential suspects all have alibis to prove their innocence. Even worse, Professor Lindo (Crystal Balint) is determined to cancel Aurora’s true crime class. Meanwhile, Aurora is determined not to let that happen but while she is more determined than ever, she cannot figure it out.

Moreover, Aurora isn’t the only one struggling to solve the murder as Arthur and Detective Cook (Steve Bacic) are also running into brick walls. Meanwhile, she turns Sally (Kayla Heller) on to true crime books, which piques Sally’s journalistic instincts. Could her friends help to solve the mystery before they become the next victims?

Meanwhile, Crystal Balint plays Professor Lindo and has starred in Mech-X4 and Prison Break. Jordan Buhat, who plays Daniel is also known for his roles in Summer of 84 and Prom Dates.

James Drew Dean is in the role of Tanner Carpenter and is known for his role in When Calls the Heart and Firefly Lane. Moreover, Sean Depner plays Cal has starred in Deadly Class and Love Hard, while Kayla Heller, who plays Sally is known for her roles in My Life with the Walter Boys and The Order.
