Hallmark Releases When Calls The Heart Season 11 Premiere Date

As Hearties know, When Calls the Heart season 10 ended with a jaw-dropping cliffhanger. In the finale episode, Elizabeth breaks off her engagement to Lucas, meaning the wedding is canceled. Fans are longing to know what happens next, and finally, Hallmark Channel has announced the premiere date of WCTH season 11. Read on to find out what we know so far about the upcoming premiere.

When Calls the Heart and season 11

This week, ET Online reported the news that Hallmark Channel has revealed the premiere date of season 11 of When Calls the Heart. There isn’t too long to wait, as the new season will start on Sunday, April 7, at 9 pm ET. Meanwhile, the new season will feature 12 episodes and will focus on “renewal and redemption.”

Executive producer and lead star, Erin Krakow is reportedly very happy about the upcoming new season. She said:

Time has flown by since the end of Season 10 and I cannot put into words how thrilled I am for the premiere of Season 11 of When Calls The Heart. It’s such a warm feeling to know that we have the loyalty, love, and longevity to make it this far and that is a true testament to our viewers.

Moreover, while thanking everyone involved in the series, Krakow said; “Season 11 delivers more heart than ever before.”

What can fans expect from the new season?

That thrilling “Lucas cliffhanger” will reportedly be resolved early in When Calls the Heart season 11. Moreover, as the newly elected Governor, Lucas (Chris McNally) has plenty to deal with, besides the cancelation of the wedding. Among this, he will have to deal with his past and help to move Hope Valley into the future.

Meanwhile, Elizabeth herself is facing the future by changing her look, along with a possible new romance. Finally, she is no longer traumatized by Jack’s death and is looking forward to the future. As teased in season 10, both Elizabeth and Nathan (Kevin McGarry) start to find romance, while handling the challenges of parenthood.

As for Bill (Jack Wagner) and Rosemary (Pascale Hutton), they are teaming up, while a new mystery threatens Hope Valley. Can this be resolved before something really bad happens?

After Elizabeth broke their engagement, fans wondered if Chris McNally was leaving the Hallmark series.  Showrunner Lindsay Sturman spoke about the upcoming season 11 and McNally, saying,

We can assure everyone that Lucas is back for Season 11. He’s a huge part of Hope Valley and always will be. But, there’s definitely a cliffhanger and a few mysteries packed in there, and all will be revealed next season.
