Hallmark fans, did this year just fly by? We only recently watched summer movies and are now watching movies relating to the fall. Despite this, Hallmark Channel and Hallmark Movies & Mysteries have announced their lineup for the Countdown to Christmas and Miracles of Christmas programming events respectively. Read on for a brief introduction to the festive, holiday movies for 2023, starting on October 20. The full program of movies is listed in date order.

1. Checkin’ It Twice
Starring: Kim Matula and Kevin McGarry
Premiere date: Friday, October 20 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: A real estate agent (Matula) is in the midst of a career crisis and returns to her hometown. Meanwhile, a journeyman hockey player is traded to her hometown and moves into the cottage of her hockey fan family’s backyard.
2. Where Are You, Christmas?
Starring: Lyndsy Fonseca, Michael Rady, Jim O’Heir, Julie Warner
Premiere date: Saturday, October 21 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: Addy wishes for a year without Christmas and wakes up in a black-and-white world. She decides to team up with the town mechanic to restore Christmas.

3. Under the Christmas Sky
Starring: Jessica Parker Kennedy, Ryan Paevey
Premiere date: Sunday, October 22 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: Kat is an esteemed astrophysicist and is scheduled for her first trip into space. However, this gets sidelined due to an accident. Meanwhile, she meets a new man at the local planetarium and they work hard together to open a new exhibit by Christmas.

4. Christmas Comes to Town
Starring: Erica Durance, Brennan Elliott, Barbara Niven
Premiere date: Thursday, October 26 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: When a shopping channel host named Ms. Christmas gets a terminal diagnosis, she heads out on a multi-city tour to spread the cheer of Christmas.
5. Christmas by Design
Starring: Rebecca Dalton, Jonathan Keltz
Premiere date: Friday, October 27 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: A fashion designer is accepted into a Christmas challenge to design a new holiday-themed collection. Through this, she not only finds the inspiration for her next fashion line but also decides to look closer at what is most important in life. Read more about the movie here.
6. Mystic Christmas

Premiere date: Saturday, October 28 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: During the holidays, a woman reconnects with the owner of the Mystic, Connecticut pizza shop, while working at the rehabilitation center and the aquarium.
7. Joyeux Noel
Starring: Jaicy Elliot, Brant Daugherty
Premiere date: Sunday, October 29 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: A reporter and a copy editor head to France to learn about a mysterious artist behind a romantic Christmas painting.

Plot: Kate is on her first private flight, heading to Christmas Island in Switzerland when the plane gets diverted by a snowstorm. She teams up with an air traffic controller to help her land her dream job.
15. A Heidelberg Holiday
Starring: Ginna Claire Mason, Frédéric Brossier
Premiere date: Sunday, November 12 at 8 pm ET on Hallmark Channel
Plot: Heidi is a glass ornament maker who heads to Germany to sell her wares at the prestigious Heidelberg Christmas Market in Germany. However, during the trip, she meets a local artisan, Lukas, who helps her to reconnect with her lost heritage.
16. A World Record Christmas
Starring: Nikki DeLoach, Lucas Bryant, Aias Dalman

Plot: Lucy Hardgrove is a screenwriter who lands her dream job of writing a remake of a beloved holiday movie classic, filmed at the historic Biltmore House in 1947.
