Hallmark star Alison Sweeney recently shared major family news with her fans and followers on Instagram. Meanwhile, her fellow Hallmark stars responded to her post with congratulations and support in the moving moment. The reason for all the emotion and excitement was that Sweeney’s son, Ben, graduated from high school.
‘What a big night’ for Hallmark star Alison Sweeney
Alison Sweeney took to Instagram in an emotional mood to celebrate her son, Ben’s graduation. As other parents know, each milestone their children reach is another step towards them growing up and leaving home.
Meanwhile, Alison captioned photos of Ben’s graduation, writing:
We are so proud of Ben – What a big night cheering on Ben as he graduates high school! Oh the places you’ll go. ❤
One of the images was from the graduation night, while another revealed a sweet family photo. Sweeney also shared another image to an Instagram Reel with the caption, “The future looks bright!”
Meanwhile, Ben recently had an on-set rotating internship while Alison and Cameron Mathison filmed A Zest for Death. However, this was prior to Mathison jumping ship from Hallmark to Great American Family. This led to Victor Webster co-starring in the Hannah Swensen movie.
Back in October 2023, Sweeney told People: “As a parent, I always strive to teach my kids new life skills. There are so many different career opportunities available today that I love when opportunities allow Ben to understand all the options available to them.”
However, she added that Ben was particularly interested in how the cameras operated on the movie set.
“From being on set, he’s developed a new understanding and appreciation of camera operations, which has been fun to watch him explore,” she said.
