Hallmark fans will recall the popular Signed, Sealed, Delivered star, Eric Mabius, or know him for his role in the ABC sitcom, Ugly Betty.
Now, Mabius has found himself behind bars after he was arrested on Thursday, February 20, in Florida.
Hallmark star Eric Mabius arrested
According to TMZ, the actor who has also starred in Haul Out the Holly and its sequel, was arrested on Thursday and booked into Nassau County Jail and Detention Center before 6 am. Mabius is facing two misdemeanor charges: battery and resisting an officer without violence.
While so far, what has happened is unclear, Mabius’ mug shot reveals a cut by his right eye and the fact that he is not happy.
The Hallmark actor was most recently seen in the Hallmark Mystery movie, Signed, Sealed, Delivered: A Tales of Three Letters in 2024, part of a series that has been ongoing since 2013.

Mabius’ TV career
Before joining the Hallmark Channel, the actor starred in the ABC sitcom Ugly Betty from 2006 to 2010 as Daniel Meade. Meanwhile, that series has long made headlines for a possible reboot or revival, with several stars expressing their interest.
Moreover, Ana Ortiz spoke of a possible reboot saying it would need to have “at least six episodes, as a movie would be hard to do with such a huge cast.
