Hallmark Star Erin Krakow Hints At New Characters In ‘Jam-Packed’ WCTH Season 10

When Calls the Heart season 10 is set to premiere on July 30 and its lead star, Erin Krakow, has revealed that big things are coming for fans. Erin has recently been interviewed by various outlets, asking her for hints of what to expect. Basically, we can look forward to a “jam-packed” season 10 with a music focus and new characters. Read on to find out what the actress who plays Elizabeth Thornton on the Hallmark drama has to say about the upcoming tenth season.

What to expect from When Calls the Heart season 10

Erin Krakow was recently interviewed by TV Fanatic, where she promised fans that season 10 of When Calls the Heart is “going to be epic.” Erin teased some new flirtations in town, but also a great sense of community. The Hallmark star also mentioned some kind of music focus, which she said is “a little new and different” for the show, but that it was fun to get to film it.

Moreover, The Wedding Cottage star added that everyone is excited about Rosemary and Lee’s baby. However, she also hinted at new characters joining When Calls the Heart.

“We do have some new characters to mix things up a little bit,” she said, adding, “I know people are anxious for Nathan to find love. Lucas and Elizabeth are continuing to explore their relationship and the various challenges that come with it as they learn more and more about each other.”

‘Very exciting, dramatic, romantic season’

Meanwhile, speaking to TV Insider, she teased a “very exciting, dramatic, romantic season.” Moreover, Krakow again mentioned music, which we seriously want to know more about, adding, “It’s going to be a very exciting, dramatic, romantic season. There’s music. It’s really jam-packed, and I’m very proud of it.”

While speaking with Southern Living, Erin only gave vague hints about season 10, saying it’s tough to talk about without giving anything away. However, she added:

But it’s going to be a good one. And of course we’re thrilled and so grateful to Hallmark that they’ve picked us up for season eleven so work really has already begun on that.

Meanwhile, Erin added, “There is a lot happening in season 10. It’s a big season and we’re reaching our 100th episode. I feel it is, and I hope it is, worth the wait for our very patient Hearties.”

Moreover, Krakow teased a “romantic and elegant date night” for Elizabeth and Lucas saying:

I can say that in true Lucas fashion, he sets up a very romantic and elegant date night for them. So there’s that to look forward to.

Moreover, with news of season 11, Erin told TV Fanatic that she is “super grateful to Hallmark that they are keeping us going.” She says Hearties don’t have to wait too long for a pickup, saying, “We’re thrilled to be going back.” Krakow added, “It’s lovely for us and for the fans and for our writers because they’re already hard at work on season 11 coming up with new storylines for everyone. And I have been hearing a lot about them, and it’s going to be a really great season.”
