Hallmark Star Hunter King Shares Engagement To Chris Copier On Social Media

Hunter King, star of Hallmark movies and ex-Young and the Restless (Y&R) Summer Newman, recently shared some exciting news on social media. The 31-year-old actress is officially engaged to her boyfriend, Chris Copier. Learn more about this, below.

Hunter hopped on Instagram to share the news by posting a video of Copier proposing on a beach, along with their dogs, Leo and Poppy.

The video, which was set to the song ‘Simply The Best’, covered by musician The Hound + The Fox, showed the couple first sharing a kiss. Then, Copier shocks Hunter by bending down on one knee, with a ring, as the actress jumps up and down excitedly (presumably saying, ‘yes’ to his marriage question).

The caption of Hunter’s IG video post read: “Best day of my life @chriscope88 I can’t wait to marry your ass”

Of course, her sister, fellow actress, Joey King, ran to the comment section to give Hunter and Chris her best.

Joey commented on the engagement IG video post with, “WOOOOHOOOOOOOO!!!!!! I’m so happy for you guys. The sweetest most wonderful news.”

Hallmark Star Hunter King’s Real-Life Love Story

Hunter met Chris in early 2022 while filming the indie flick, Give Me Your Eyes. She starred in the movie, while Christ was the first assistant director.

The two began dating about a year later and have worked together on a number of other projects, including a Hallmark Channel movie that’s soon to be released called, Holiday Touchdown: A Chiefs Love Story. The flick was shot in Kansas City with a ton of scenes taking place at Arrowhead Stadium.

In addition to her Hallmark work, Hunter was on the Y&R from 2012 to 2016 and then from 2018 to 2022. During her tenure on the soap, she was nominated for a five Daytime Emmy Award in the Younger Actress category and snagged the statue twice, once in 2014 and then again in 2015.
